colonial elegance revisited

really good kindness amazing variety

The staff consistently displayed really good kindness and attentiveness , ensuring all needs were promptly met. the hotel's interiors exuded class, improved with super clean rooms plus comfortable bedding. i was also impressed with the breakfast and dinner buffets. They offered a amazing variety of delicious food.

during check-in, my request for a connecting room with the junior suite was unfulfilled. this resulted in paying an extra rm468 for a beautiful suite upgrade , an unexpected cost. it somewhat marred the initial part of my stay.

breakfast included a wide array of choices , with vegetarian options readily available. the variety in the buffet ensures many preferences can be met, including numerous local dishes. service was attentive during all meals.

Wonderful Stay at a Heritage Gem

great space staff dedication warm greeting

This visit, my tenth, was really good. The rooms offer great space. I recommend a Junior Suite. The Smoke House bar served a perfect Malayan cocktail and Caesar salad. I hesitate to recommend it for fear of crowds. The staff greeted me with warmth and efficiency, a testament to their dedication.

The gym equipment lacked recent updates.

the staff worked diligently! i found the breakfast choice very good. the bedding and pillows were the best i have had in a very long time.

The receptionist did not take my issue about the bathroom seriously. I was so disappointed!

The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of food. That was good.

The pool closing at 7 pm was irritating. That is way too early. it made it hard to plan any evening swims. also, the location made it difficult to walk to places. It felt isolated.

I appreciate the spacious beautiful king room. The marble bathroom included opulent details. The super comfortable bedding ensured a restful sleep. I was grateful for the hotel breakfast, it has a plethora of delicious options.

This limited our dining options. I hope that the hotel can help fix this issue.
